The core consists of a collection of manuscripts, incunabula and books of Count Fabrizio Orsini Rill in 1825 that gave everything to the community of Poppi. The library is augmented with private donations as the Library Soldani and especially with funds from the monasteries suppressed, as Camaldoli.
