What Happenend To A Place In Greece
In Living Luca Giordano, 1 Via Cavour in Florence, was inaugurated the exhibition "From the Andes to Flower City - Bolivia Florence "by Vannucci and Benedetta Vanni Gori
The exhibition is open until February 7 at the gallery in Via Cavour Via Larga 7 / r (time 10-13 and 16-19).
Thanks to the enthusiasm and creative passion of Ruth Cardenas Vettori (http://ruthcardenas.blogpost.com), which, at this series of cultural events and activities reminiscent of the memory Vittorio Vettori's husband left us in 2004. Among the various cultural events that take place in Florence from January 9 to February 13 (Blog http://vittoriovettori.blogspot.com program), a photographic exhibition in the gallery in Via Larga Via Cavour.
I have been present at the fresh air and exhilarating, exciting and well educated. The hall was crowded and the music magically interwoven with the Bolivian poems recited in English from Ruth, who has taken the deepest feelings and anxieties and emotions released. The "Andean Condor" was linked to the "Florentine Lily", the waters of Lake Titicaca with those of the Arno river, in a mosaic of images and memories then visible in the photos on Bolivia and colors of black and white ones in Florence (by Vannucci and Benedettas Vanni Gori who also submitted their catalogs). The reason for the show: the intertwining of two lives, two cultures, two times, two emotions. Vittorio Vettori (Dante scholar, philosopher, poet, writer), Italian and Ruth Cardenas, Bolivia, (writer and poet) lived their life in a harmonious duet with emotional dissonance and counterpoint. Extensive documentation of these magical moments in the exhibition at the Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale in Florence in Piazza Cavalry.
Benedetta Gori draws visitors' attention on the choice of framing: for Florence and its beautiful architecture, and I Vanni sought views and cuts, making it even more magical than our beloved hometown and give it what an ordinary tourist image fails to convey the visitor ..
Upcoming dates: Sunday, January 31, Palazzo Pitti, concert flamenco
4:11 February, Oblate Library, via dell'Oriolo with conducting Sandra Landi, Griseldascrittura (www.griseldascrittura.com)
February 13, the Pharmacy in Santa Maria Novella Via della Scala, a parade of "paper clothes" on the works of Vittorio Vettori.
Thanks Ruth, you are given a touch of refreshing vitality of knowledge .... we are grateful to you, with affection, Paola
