Florence recalls the humanist Vittorio Vettori in the ninetieth anniversary of the birth
Next December 24, 2010 marks the ninetieth Anniversary of the Birth of humanist writer Vittorio Vettori. One of the most intense and versatile figures of twentieth-century European intellectual constellation, capable of joining the highest tradition of classical strain Dante and the most innovative and wide-ranging cultural. All in a river of writing over three hundred works of philosophy, literary criticism, essays Dante's poetry and fiction. A real historical and literary, full of erudition and vibrant humanity.
Thus, in its vast geography of intellectual and militant man of dialogue, recognized around the world, Vittorio Vettori will be remembered Wednesday, December 22 at 16.30 in Room Pistelli Province Florence, Palazzo Medici Riccardi Via Cavour 1. Occasion will be presented the book "Vittorio Vettori, Civilization Literary Culture and Philosophy" published by The Letters by Marino Biondi and Alice Cencetti. The evening, organized by the Institute "Mircea Eliade" in collaboration with the Province of Florence, will be attended also, Ruth Cardenas, Joseph Panella, Enrico Nistri, Gianni Conti and Marco Cellai. We will be opening the greetings of the President of the Province of Florence, Andrea Barden, and leading authority and at the conclusion of the commemoration, a special "Concert of Colors" written and performed by Master Massini Stelio guitarist with the reading poetic actor Enzo Lenzetti.
